This loss has deeply impacted the hundreds of individuals and families who rely on the food bank each month for essential support. As a community organization committed to helping those in need, we are now facing an urgent and critical challenge: how to continue providing food security to our neighbours during this time of disruption.
In the short term, we are launching a gift card program to ensure that families and individuals who were relying on food hampers can still access groceries and basic necessities. This system will allow recipients to shop with dignity and flexibility while we work to secure a new temporary location to resume the distribution of tangible food items. Your support is crucial in helping us make this stopgap solution possible.
We are asking for financial donations from the Quesnel community—businesses, organizations, and individuals alike—so we can support those most in need and look to the future with hope.
