The CPKC Holiday Train is coming to Golden!

Every year, the Holiday Train spreads holiday cheer and supports the fight against food insecurity by visiting communities across the continent and making generous donations to local food banks. Join the GFB on December 16th at 8:30pm in the CP Train Yard for live music from Barenaked Ladies, holiday cookies, hot chocolate, and even a visit from Santa himself!

This year we are encouraging Golden residents to consider making a monetary donation through our Virtual Food Drive instead of bringing a non-perishable item to the event. Cash donations help us purchase our most needed dry goods at bulk discount prices, and fresh food like milk, eggs, and produce - ensuring our food access programs support a healthy diet. As we can buy in bulk with corporate discounts, your dollar goes further when donated directly to us!

Virtual Food Drive donations are tax-deductible, and youll receive a tax receipt automatically after your donation is processed.
