Over the past eleven months (Jan 2024-Nov 2024, inclusive), our community pantry has provided over 4133 grocery boxes to our community on Mayne Island (not including deliveries to the Mayne Island Early Childcare Centre and Mayne Island School!). Although we are immensely proud of the amount of support we have been able to provide and are beginning to implement plans and strategies that will increase our stability and sustainability in the future, rising food costs mean stocking the shelves of the pantry is a constant struggle. If you can, please donate! Every little bit helps us get closer to eradicating food insecurity on Mayne Island.
