Last year we saw a 96% increase in client numbers.
We project a 100% increase for 2025 - resulting in over a thousand client visits.
Economic uncertainty, trade wars and tariffs are likely to significantly increase grocery prices and operating costs - a major challenge to our capacity and funding.
The generosity of donors like you over the past few years has been overwhelming and has allowed us to be in a much better position to provide food to our clients this year.
However, our biggest challenge is that our community does not have a dedicated food bank facility. Operating from private locations is no longer viable with this many clients.
Most communities have a food bank facility, and our next strategic priority is to work towards building one.
This is the key focus of this ambitious fundraiser. If we can raise enough funding, we can supplement it with matching grants and get closer to our goal.
